Size Guide
Read this one properly. We ship direct from our manufacturer, so there's no quick swap from a warehouse down the road. Getting the size right the first time is worth two minutes of your attention.
Australian sizing. The number is the waist you are, not the waist you'd like to be.
| Size | Waist (inches) | Waist (cm) | Usually fits |
|---|---|---|---|
| S | 30" | 74–78 cm | Slim build |
| M | 32" | 79–83 cm | Most blokes |
| L | 34" | 84–88 cm | Most blokes |
| XL | 36" | 89–94 cm | Broader build |
| 2XL | 38" | 95–100 cm | Broader build |
How to measure, properly
Take a soft tape around your waist where the waistband of the shorts will actually sit — at the hip bone, not up at the belly button where trousers sit. Stand normally. Don't breathe in. Don't cheat, you're only cheating yourself.
If you're between two sizes
Size up. The waist is elastic with a drawcord, so a size up cinches down fine. A size down does not stretch up, and on a printed short a strained waistband distorts the print exactly where you don't want it distorted.
Buying it as a gift and you have no idea?
His jeans size is the number you want — have a look at a pair in his cupboard. If you're still stuck, L is the size we send most of.
If it turns up wrong anyway

The cut
Mid-length, sitting around mid-thigh. Elastic waist, functioning drawcord, white mesh liner, no back pocket — a back pocket would cut straight through the print, which rather defeats the purpose.
